the coolness factor is how to describe this crystal and brass chandelier by the Swedish designer Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011). Composed of eight pie-shaped curved crystal segments with textured surface suspended from a brass frame; excellent vintage condition; rewired; Fagerlund is internationally recognized for his unique and cutting edge lighting designs at Orrefors Glassworks in the 1960-1970s. He became lighting designer at Orrefors Glassworks in 1948, staying until 1980. His designs are often characterized by thick, textured crystal.
