Pair of English Ruskin Pottery Iridescent Orange-glazed Vases now as Lamps

each with short everted neck above a baluster-form body all ending in a splayed foot; with ebonized metal cap and wooden bases; all in a rich orange lustre glaze; undersides impressed RUSKIN / ENGLAND 1919; Ruskin Pottery was an English art pottery studio founded in 1898, and closing in 1935. They were known for their innovative glazes especially for their lustre glaze which resembled metallic finishes; height: 15" (top of pottery) 28" (top of shade); remnants of an old label; overall good antique condition with rubbing and losses to lustre glaze with white underglaze showing; glazing and firing flaws; re-painted caps and bases
