Gorgeous bowl by master wood turning artist, Larry Witt. Witt is a Southwest artist, who is displayed in many galleries, and is collected all around the world. Witt composes his pieces using many different species of wood. Using no dyes or stains, it is the variety of natural colorations in his wood choices that define his work.This bowl is made of oak, maple and purpleheart woods, and is comprised of 161 separate pieces of wood. It has a wonderful, sweet smell. Amazing piece of art!
BIOGRAPHY
Bill Bloomfield engages the intersecting qualities between art and architecture through vibrant, hard-edge paintings inspired by the effect of light. Bill has a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech. As part of his thesis he studied color and form through silk screen printing and continues this exploration today through his paintings.
