of stylish mid-century design in the manner of Tommi Parzinger, with ivory-glazed oblelisk-form base emanating two deeply scrolled brass arms supporting candle form socket holders;  centering a cylindrical brass rod and finial; all atop a black marble base with white veining; 18.5" (top of ceramic)  35: (top of shade); good vintage condition with light overall wear; minor pitting to brass; professionally rewired. 

the circular tabouret with new decking above a rope-twist giltwood frame with cabriole supports with knotted feet all joined by an x-form stretcher centering a robust central knot; furniture carved in this manner is generally associated with the Parisian upholsterer A.M.E. Fournier, who supplied at least one carved rope stool to the Musée National du Château de Compiègne; gilding refreshed; nice patina with overall even rubbing; structurally sound frame; new taupe leather upholstery with saddle-stitch detailing. 

Made in France from French limestone, the table is comprised of a thick round top with bullnose edge and graduated circular base. New with only minimal wear expected; table is ideal for exterior or interior design projects.
