As one person described Arthur Court's San Francisco shop, "it's a world of wonders - elegant and exotic". A new and innovative aluminum casting process led Arthur and Arthur Court Designs into a new era. His unique aluminum furniture and accessories featured cast antler chandeliers, chairs, tables and bookcases. 
Department stores across the United States brought his aluminum creations to loyal followers and collectors; reupholstered in brown cowhide.

the large round mirror within a well-carved pale blue and silver-gilt frame capped with a shell motif over an openwork crest; all above an exuberantly carved frame with lively C-scrolls and acanthus leaves; purchased in 2022 from the estate of antique dealer Bartolomeo Rizzo, Palermo, Italy; good antique condition with some replacements, elements re-glued; professionally restored with refreshed surface; nice overall even wear and rubbing to surface; later plate

of impressive scale with stately presence, the Baroque Flemish Style cushion frame finely painted to replicate the rich, amber-like tones and distinctive radiating patterns of genuine tortoiseshell; the double-recessed frame with outer cushion molding all separated by bands of ebonized moldings; all surrounding a beveled mirror plate; excellent condition with only minimal wear
