from the artist: I've long been inspired by old things. The texture and play of light on a weathered surface are the things that spark my imagination. I seek to capture a building's essence in my paintings, in a time less hurried with a calmness of spirit. Post-university studies led Beebe to the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1913, he began using the name Robb Beebe with its unusual spelling. In the 1930's, Beebe worked as an illustrator for the pulp magazine, All Story Love Tales while contributing to Women's World, Collier's and McCalls.

Two things in Eric Petsinger’s life are truly memorable. The first is a day in 1968 when his mother left the house a brunette and came home a blonde. In epoca, Eric has created a layered inventory with a ‘something for everyone’ approach, blending American and European antiques with 20th century furnishings.
