the square top with inset tiles all above intricate openwork aprons with arabesque spandrels; painted overall with stylized floral and foliate motifs in colors of scarlet, ochre and olive green; overall wear and patina with some chipping to paint 

of mixed woods with marquetry and parquetry inlay; the rectangular top with large central reserve within a cross-banded border; the body fitted with 3 long drawers with herring-bone veneer adorned with spandrels and imbricated decoration with similarly veneered side panels; the whole standing on tapering legs; rich color and overall  good antique condition with areas of replaced veneer and shrinkage consistent with age and use

with high cartouche-shaped back centering an over-scaled coral painted shell motif; above a faux marble hinged seat over a solid apron with scalloped border; in colors of coral, blue, green and ochre on a pale blue ground; good antique condition; nice overall wear and patina to refreshed painted surface

the circular padded back with floral carved crest rail above padded arms over s-scrolled supports; joining a generous bowed seat and apron with foliate carving; raised on turned fluted supports; overall even wear and rubbing to refreshed paint and gilding; with new puddy-colored boar skin upholstery

a nice example of an early abstract expressionist painting conveying the emotional expression and depth of field through layered spontaneous brush strokes; unsigned; The AE movement originated in New York in the 1940s and 1950s emphasizing an artist's liberty to convey attitudes and emotions through nontraditional and nonrepresentational means. Leading figures were Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning;  professionally cleaned; craquelure; canvas re-stretched on new frame; the canvas floating within a gray stained oak frame
