each well-carved foo lion with expressive straightforward gaze on a rectilinear base with dragon-carved frieze; usually depicted in pairs consisting of a male leaning his paw upon an embroidered ball, representing supremacy over the world, and a female restraining a playful cub, symbolizing nurturing and protection for the inhabitants of a building; good antique condition with weathered surface and minor chipping

also available in Belgian Bluestone; the thick rectangular top with bullnose edge raised on 4 detached rectilinear supports; tables are custom made in Belgium so variations in stone will occur

tall pair of Kashmir polychrome and black lacquer candlesticks now electrified;  each twisting openwork stick surmounted by a candle cup issuing an electrified socket all raised on a round foot over a later ebonized wooden plinth; adorned overall with colorfully painted floral decoration; good antique condition with overall even wear and patina; professionally rewired; one foot with old stable split
