BIOGRAPHY
Bill Bloomfield engages the intersecting qualities between art and architecture through vibrant, hard-edge paintings inspired by the effect of light. Bill has a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech. As part of his thesis he studied color and form through silk screen printing and continues this exploration today through his paintings.

a pair of Maurizio Tempestini (Italian, 1908-1960) mid-century modern alabaster table lamps in a sculpted flame design of polished white alabaster with veins of black; raised on oval ebonized wooden bases; good vintage condition with minor chipping; professionally rewired and bases re-painted
each with curvaceous opening with pinched lip above a cup-shaped body attached to a loop handle; raised on a circular base; professional repair to handle and lip; some wear and fine crackling to glaze.

each with incurved back sloping to join a tight seat flanked by bowed arms ending in swan neck terminals; raised on cabriole legs; adorned overall with giltwood acanthus leaves, bellflowers and scrollwork; professionally restored with refreshed paint and gilding; overall even wear and patina; newly upholstered
the well-detailed study of a Parisian room interior depicting a staircase and entitled "Escalier" in rich layered colors; with new Art Nouveau style giltwood frames; plate is in good clean condition
the rectangular hinged lid framed by a brass inlaid border surrounding floral vines; the body inlaid with fine floral and foliate brass stringing; the red velvet lined interior with removable tray; restored condition.
each depicting an etruscan urn with detail images and inscriptions written below; from the book 'Picturae Etruscorum in Vasculis' by Giovanni Battista Passeri; later French mattes and giltwood frames; excellent condition.

capped with an oak leaf wreath emanating cascading iron rope twist strands joining seven scrolled candle arms surrounding a central support with a meandering oak leaf vine; overall even wear to surface; professionally rewired
