The high quality pottery and porcelain figures produced there are now referred to by the abbreviated name, "Royal Dux." Ownership of the business changed frequently over the last 150 years. Bohemia became part of Czechoslovakia which was in turn controlled first by Germany then the Soviet Union.
Gorgeous bowl by master wood turning artist, Larry Witt. Witt is a Southwest artist, who is displayed in many galleries, and is collected all around the world. Witt composes his pieces using many different species of wood. Using no dyes or stains, it is the variety of natural colorations in his wood choices that define his work.This bowl is made of oak, maple and purpleheart woods, and is comprised of 161 separate pieces of wood. It has a wonderful, sweet smell. Amazing piece of art!
