the rectangular inset olive green leather writing surface decorated with gilt tooling above an apron fitted with two drawers on both sides; raised on faux bamboo columnar supports; the map storage compartment below a hidden hinged top; lacquered wood case decorated in Chinoiserie style; good condition; purchased from Mallett, London; provenance, Estate of Michael Taylor, Stanley and Lynn Beyer.
