In the 1930's, Beebe worked as an illustrator for the pulp magazine, All Story Love Tales while contributing to Women's World, Collier's and McCalls.

In 1908, the “F. Thomas, Marktredwitz” factory was purchased by Rosenthal, ceasing operation in 1960.

Night Vision  Series – watercolor on paper 2009-2010; a series of the night in urban San Francisco;  Artist William Stanisich brings to life with his watercolor paintings rich in color, motion and mood, this series of moving cars through a rainy night. William Stanisich born in 1947 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and raised in San Francisco, received his BA from Yale College (1969), attended courses at the San Francisco Art Institute (1964-5 and 1970), taught painting at the Urban School of San Francisco (1972-2001) and currently is a full-time painter here in San Francisco.
