Bill Stanisich first encountered England’s Lake District through the poetry of Wordsworth and Coleridge. Signed lower left; Paul Immel was born in Helena, Montana in 1864. Immel studied at the Ball School of Art in Minneapolis and in 1924 moved to Los Angeles where he further studied at Otis Art Institute, later moving to Seattle, Washington. Immel is known for his watercolor floral studies and was a member of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters and the Northwest Watercolor Society; excellent condition with nice clear colors; some wear to blonde-stained wooden frame

The views are spectacular and after the 1906 earthquake, it was here the surrounding neighborhood set up a tent city to take refuge”.

each painted with joyous spontaneity successfully mixing the dreamlike and the realistic featuring three beach scenes with dramatic skies and figures scurrying around beached boats; signed 'Ritter' lower left; excellent condition; professionally framed; Laszlo Ritter was a self taught impressionist painter. The Hungarian uprising in 1956 precipitated Ritter's bid for freedom and safety in England at age seventeen. Ritter spent his early years studying the Masters and learning their techniques.

MADELEINE LIEPE (Oregon/Switzerland, 1929-2017) Signed lower right and dated 1970, signed again and titled verso; the serene charcoal drawing of lush trees surrounding a pond with a gently rolling lawn in the foreground; good clean condition with only minor discoloration; new acid-free matting with gilt fillet and ebonized wooden frame;  Madeleine Liepe was a Postwar and Contemporary artist who spent her professional career in Oregon.

Gunnar Donald Anderson (1927-2022) was active/lived in California, New York and is known for his child portraits and advertising art. After two years of study at the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco, he attended Los Angeles Art Center School and in 1951 earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. From 1951 to 1955, he worked for as an art director for two New York City based advertising agencies, before moving to San Francisco in 1955. His works are held in numerous collections nationwide and has received multiple awards.

the serene tonal painting with its limited palette and harmonizing colors depicting an impressionistic, hilly wintry scene; excellent condition; new giltwood frame and fillet; Robb Beebe began his art training in 1910 at the Cleveland School of Art. Post-university studies led Beebe to the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1913, he began using the name Robb Beebe with its unusual spelling. In the 1930's, Beebe worked as an illustrator for the pulp magazine, All Story Love Tales while contributing to Women's World, Collier's and McCalls.
